Community Youth Project

In partnership with Advance Peace and Fresno EOC, the RIDE Foundation is working with at risk youth in the Fresno communities to reduce gun violence.  Through equine assisted activities, participants will learn several skill sets that will help them to understand and practice nonverbal communication skills, body language/positioning, and emotional control techniques.  The skills we work on with horses can be useful in all aspects of our lives and will help the participants be more aware of these when they are interacting with others.

The skill sets these participants will learn include:

Leadership, boundaries, self esteem, patience, trust, confidence, personal responsibility, and more.
